Make an Ask
Like an NBA Agent

Go outside the fundraising box and into the basketball arena with Danielle Cantor Jeweler, the only registered female agent representing NBA athletes in the National Basketball Association, as we explore how to prep for a big ask - and make a case for it - like a sports agent helps their clients secure multi-million dollar contracts from sports team owners.

In this original, entertaining and interactive Q&A session, led by Leigh Kessler, a noted speaker and expert in branding, fundraising and technology, Jeweler will share how she and her team prepare for their big ask – a contract negotiation for one of their professional athletes.

She'll also discuss what goes into convincing the players she represents why they should entrust her to deliver to them what matters most in their lives - demonstrated results, a better world for their families, and a personal legacy they can be proud of.

Whether you're a rookie in development or a veteran, here are three things any audience of fundraisers, gifts officers and nonprofit executives will be inspired to do and improve on after seeing this presentation:

 1.

2.

Communicate your client's unique value to the buyer's needs.

Uncover what matters to your buyer besides dollars.

3.

Keeping everyone happy after the contracts are signed.

Discover lessons learned about Stewarding relationships.
